Bonder and Primer

Dear Nail Tecnicians,

We have created this blog because many of you asked for it and we would like to help your work and give more knowledge about the products.
Our first topic is the  BONDER/PRIMER. What is this, how to use it etc...
Many nail technicians don`t know what the difference is between the Primer and the Bonder. Now we give you the answers.
Primer acidic: adhesion promoting liquid that removes humidity from the nail layers. When the nail prep or spray prep has dried, apply it thinly on the nail removing the access material off the brush on the neck of the bottle or on a paper towel. Due to the acidic content, it must not touch the skin. Wait to dry before apply the gel or the acrylic material! Use the Primer after when you applied the tip onto the nail. You don`t need to cover to hole surface, only the nail!
Bonder/ Acid free Primer: The acid free primer or bonder are the same. It does not contain acid so it is not the same as the Primer! The primer removes humidity on the nail surface but the bonder has another function! The bonder will give the perfect adhesion between the gel/acrylic and the nail surface. No need to wait for drying! You must use both when you build an artificial nail. It will overtake the lifting!!!
So if someone had problem with the lifting before it could be one of the reasons.

Should you have any questions about this article please do not hesitate to post it here.

  2. Yes, you always need to use bonder, because the bonder will give the adhesion between the natural nail and the gel. If you don't use bonder the material can be lifted.
